They also represent the company’s positions to the Administration, and national organizations representing consumer advocates, providers, and employers, including the National Advisory Board (NAB) on Improving Health Care Services for Older Adults and People with Disabilities.
Mona Mahmoud has over 20 years of health care experience in various government affairs and consulting roles with a focus on the drug supply chain and major health care programs, including Medicare, Medicaid, and the private health care marketplace.
She is currently an Executive Director on the Public Policy and Issues Management Team and is responsible for developing and shaping PBM-related policy and representing Elevance Health with federal regulators in HHS and other Departments.
Prior to joining Elevance Health, Mona held many roles within the pharmaceutical industry including roles at the Pharmacy Care Management Association, the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, Pfizer, and Booz Allen Hamilton.
